As the owner/operator of Delectable & Delicious, Sandi (Irvine) Barkwell,
together with her daughter, Michelle (Mickie) Sanders, bring an extensive background
of International and Canadian Cuisine to the business. Along with 32 years of
culinary experience, Sandi is also credited with training and experience in Event
Catering and Event Festival management. Mickie, a Red Weddings have been the prime market of the company as Sandi confesses that her wedding dinner was a complete disaster from appetizer to dessert. The humiliation of that experience, let Sandi to vow that her family and friends would not have to endure the embarrassment she and her husband had as a result of an incapable, uncaring caterer. The following years found her planning, organizing and preparing wedding, anniversary, fund raising, and social function means for neighbors and friends. On the recommendation and insistence of those people, "Delectable & Delicious" was born. The company began operation in January of 1990 and as a result of dedication to fine quality, generous food portions, and superior service, business has been tremendous. As word of mouth is the most precious form of advertising, Sandi is ever thankful for the overwhelming thank you letters and cards she receives and the referrals that inevitably follow. cutlery, linen, uniformed wait staff, set up and clean up. There are no hidden
costs to surprise the client after the initial contract has been signed.
